Solar PV Incentive Program Rebate
The current New York grant is $1.00 per watt for systems up to 50kW of
installed capacity with an additional $.60 per watt provided for installed
capacity greater than 50kW (max of 200kW). The grant amount may be reduced for
potential production losses associated with site quality factors like shading.
The New York State Energy Research and
Development Authority (NYSERDA)
residential PV solar grants are
available to utility customers who pay the state’s RPS charge including Central
Hudson Gas & Electric, Consolidated Edison, New York State Electric &
Gas Corporation, National Grid Power, Orange and Rockland and Rochester Gas and
Electric. Astrum Solar is a NYSERDA incentive program approved installer.
