You can install a wind turbine system on your own property. Whether or not you
should install a wind energy system will depend on several factors. These
include how much electricity you use each year, how much wind you get in your
area and how much space you have on your property. There are also electric
service providers that sell energy produced by wind turbines. If your electric
service is not regulated by your local government, and you choose not to install
a wind turbine, you may be able to obtain this service.

The sun is the main source of wind energy. When the sun heats up the
surface of the Earth, the air becomes warm and moves up towards the atmosphere.
In some places, where the heat does not reach the surface, air remains cold and
is present near the surface.
