Based on a study by the European Solar Thermal Electricity Association and Greenpeace International l(Outlook Solar Magazine 2009), it would only take 2% of the solar energy from the Sahara Desert to supply the world's electricity needs. The instillation would be to massive and lack efficiency to make such a project practical.....
